Why chargers need sites
Many things are managed on a per-site basis, such as:
Energy Management (when done via Volt Time Cloud)
Access and permissions
Licenses
In order to make full use of these functions, the charger needs to be added to a Site.
Some older Volt Time chargers (serial numbers below VT_0005000) may not have a site. This is not a problem, these chargers will continue to function as normal.
How to add chargers to a site
Web Portal
Go to the Site > Chargers
Click Add existing charger(s)
If the charger doesn't exist in the Cloud yet, click New charger.
