Who is my installer?

To find out who has installed your charger, you can follow these steps.

  • Check for any stickers on the chargepoint or in the fusebox.

  • On the Web Portal, go to Chargers>View. Scroll allt he way down and check which Organisations have (limited) access to the charger.

Before contacting your installer

It's important to take a few steps before your installer can help you.

  1. Give the installer access to your Location. Go to Location>Access and give the installer full access so they can assess the situation completely.

  2. Be sure to give them your Chargepoint ID. This is the unique identifier your charger uses to present itself online. It's usually the serial number.

Why your installer can help you

In the end, your installer knows the installation throughout. They will have an installation report, know how the charger is wired up, how it's connected to the internet and all other details that make troubleshooting a lot easier. This is why, after trouble shooting, reaching out to your installer first is often the quickest way to solve any issues you are having.
