This article potentially going near and/or opening your fuse box, looking for a circuit breaker. If the circuit breakers are covered (see image below), this can be a relatively safe operation. Always use extreme caution, however. Never touch any wires, screws or metal rails. If you are not sure what you are doing, do not proceed.
What is rebooting?
With rebooting, we mean power cycling. That means that you need to completely power it off and then turn it on again. This is different from just 🔗Resetting your charger, because when you reset your charger it will always be powered on.
How to reboot your charger
Locate the circuit breaker of the charger.
Flick the circuit breaker off. Make sure the charger's LED / Display has gone dark. If it hasn't, you may have accidentally switched off a different device in your building.
Wait 10 seconds.
Turn the circuit breaker on.
Go outside and check that the charger has power again.
If you're rebooting your charger due to network issues, it may take up to 10 minutes for the charger to come back online, and sometimes even 60 minutes if the charger is connected via WiFi.
How to locate the circuit breaker of the charger
It should be located inside the fuse box of the building. The installer will usually have left a label on or near the circuit breaker to indicate which one is for your charger. There may also be a schematic near your fusebox referencing all devices and corresponding circuit breakers in your building.
If can't locate or access the correct circuit breaker, contact your installer to assist you in rebooting the charger.
