Getting access to your charger
Download the app here and register your account.
Your charger is linked to an address, called a location. Your installer should have invited you already to join the location, scan their QR code or press the link in your email.
Menu layout
The Overview tab contains information about your location.
The Chargers tab shows all chargers in the location, swipe left and right to cycle between chargers.
The Transactions tab shows all transactions in the location.
Your Account opens up the menu with settings relating to your account, location and app.
Overview - Your location
In the Overview tab, you'll find the following information, going from top to bottom:
If you press your address in the top left, you'll open the location selector which is used to switch between different locations.
The main fuse is shown in the top right. It displays your current power usage or delivery of your location. You can press it to find your main fuse and meter settings.
Don't change your main fuse or meter settings unless your installer asks you to.
The Charging Status shows if your chargers are charging and how fast.
The insights field can be pressed to learn more about your impact on the environment.
Smart Charging
This is where it gets exciting! With Smart Charging, we refer to our Power Management technology which enables load & solar balancing, and our Tariff Management which enables charging on dynamic and variable energy tariffs. These modes apply to the whole location, so all chargers at once.
The Power Management field displays your current Power Management mode of the location. Press it to reveal several modes and settings:
Smart Solar
Solar Only
Advanced Solar Settings
Minimum charge threshold (Smart Solar)
Solar backup usage (Solar Only)
The Tariff Management field displays your current Tariff Management mode of the location. Here you can switch between:
Off
Scheduled Charging for charging on high/low tariffs
At the bottom of your screen, the current live energy prices are displayed for your reference.
Chargers
The chargers tab displays your chargers. Swipe left and right to cycle between them. From top to bottom:
Your charger's chargepoint identity is displayed at the top, and right below that is the charger status (e.g. available, waiting for power, etc).
Pressing the + in the top right will allow you to add a charger.
The Authorization field displays whether your charger requires cards to be scanned or whether you'd like to use Autostart.
To the right, you can protect your charger against unwanted use by using the Lock Charger function.
The big play button starts a transaction remotely or stops it.
To the left of it, the current charging speed is displayed. The green bar below that indicates how much of the charger's limit is actually being used.
Settings
On the right, you'll find the Settings button. Open it to reveal:
Your charger's pincode
The Operators menu, displaying any 3rd party operators connected to your charger
The option to upgrade your charging experience
The reconfigure button, to reconfigure your charger
The button to remove the charger from this location
Don't reconfigure your charger or remove it from the location unless your installer asks you to.
Transactions
The transactions tab shows a history of all charging sessions in this location. So when, how much, and using which card. If you're looking for more details, you might want to log into the web portal to download your transactions to excel.
Account settings
Going back to the Overview page, press on your account in the top right to reveal settings relating to your account, location and app.
Press on your name to change it, log out or delete your account.
Press Language to switch the app to your desired language.
Current Location shows which location you are currently viewing the settings of, and you can open up the location selector by pressing it. Edit your address information by pressing Location Information.
Main Fuse is also found here to reveal settings about your main fuse and meter. Again, don't edit this if unless your installer asks you to.
Press Cards to add/remove cards which can be used to authorize transactions for all chargers in this location.
Pressing Members will reveal which teams have access to your location and to what degree. Invite new members or manage their data access here.
Finally, you can press Join Location to scan the QR code to join a location or press Create a new location to set up a new one.
