Lock Charger is a Chargers setting that can be found in the app and web portal. It is very popular to use in combination with Plug & Charge.
How does Lock Charger work?
Sets your charger to Unavailable
Nobody can charge
When you toggle Lock Charger to ON, the charger is set to Unavailable. When a charger is Unavailable, nobody can charge their car with this charger.
Most chargers will have their LED turn red or off in this state. Chargers with a display may display a big red cross.
The Unavailable status can also be seen for any other connected backoffices via the Proxy.
How to set Lock Charger
App
Go to the Gear icon
Tap Lock Charger
Toggle ON
Wait 10 seconds
Web Portal
Go to Chargers, then View
Go to Settings
Go to Lock Charger
Toggle ON
Wait 10 seconds
