Determine your scenario
There are 3 possible scenarios.
Already connected
Your charger was recently installed and Plugchoice was mentioned by the installer. The charger is probably already connected to Plugchoice and you just need to join its location.
You don't have to read this article.
Connected to different platform
This is the case if you have automatic billing, for example.
Not connected to any platform
The charger is not connected to any platform, or you're just not sure.

Requirements
Charger has internet connection
Laptop with windows
ACE Service Installer
UTP cable
Log into your charger
Download ACE Service Installer to your laptop.
Log in with the credentials included with your charger, or try:
Username: RadomskiRPassword: fazUv6
Connect your laptop to the charger via UTP.
Select your charger in the left-hand side.
Log into the charger using the credentials included with your charger.
Connect your charger
Under Connectivity > General, set:
Backoffice preset: Plugchoice
Protocol: OCPP 1.6
Find the chargepoint identity
Go to General > General, find Customer Ident. number.
By default, this is something like "ACExxxxxxx".
This is the chargepoint identity. Copy it (case sensitive).
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger to the location using the chargepoint identity.
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you setup everything correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
Usually, this is because you got the chargepoint identity wrong.
